Everest Trek


Rated by National Geographic as one of the top 5 treks in the world, the Everest trek to Base Camp is on most keen trekkers’ wish list. And everyone who has walked up the mighty Khumbu valley to visit the camp from which so many great adventurers have launched their Everest challenge agrees this is a fantastic experience.
Although trekking is possible in Everest Base Camp everyday around the year, the best time to trek Everest is from the beginning of Mar. to May and Sept. to Nov.. As a consequence of freezing temperature in winter, if you travel to Tibet at that time, you may find it’s hard to trek Mt. Everest. Many hotels and guesthouses will close when there is heavy snow.
The views Everest Base Camp and several mountains on the way are truly magnificient. Apr. to May is a good time to see fascinating landscapes with trees surrounded by rhododendrons (National flower of Nepal). In addition, the picturesque scenery will definitely impress all the trekkers.
If you want to trek in Tibet, Mt. Everest is one of the most classic routes. If you want to travel to Everest, there are some gears you have to equip before trekking.
Package: Pack all your necessities and necessities only—raincoat, waterproof clothes, caravan shoes, sleeping bag, tent, down jacket and etc.
Food: Prepare yourself with some high energy and high heat food, something like hard bread, chocolate and jerk.
Medicine: Herba Rhodiolae(3 days before your trek), meds for cold and other drugs depending on your own healthy condition.
Sunscream: The ultraviolet rays of Mt. Everest is surprisingly strong due to its thin atmosphere. In case of sun burn, you have to protect yourself. Do bring your sunglasses, sunscreen cream and after-sun scream if available.
The Everest Base Camp trek takes you away from the hustle and bustle of your everday life bringing you peace and calm with much needed timeout from the stresses and burdens of a busy lifestyle.
