Tingri

Tingri County is located in the middle of the northern foot of Mount Everest Himalayas which with an average elevation of 5000 meters. The world's highest peak - Mount Everest belong to the county. There are four peaks that more than 8,000 meters in this county, namely Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu(Qiaowu Ya Feng), Makalu. Mount Everest is located at the junction between Qudang County and the boundary of Nepal which is the world’s highest peak. These towering and steep mountains constitute the county's most spectacular natural landscape which attracting people to have a Mount Everest expedition.
